As many of you recently heard in the news cycle in Las Vegas, MGM has bought Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino on the strip. MGM is already the biggest casino operator on Las Vegas Blvd., and has just grown their portfolio even more. Although MLife members are understandably excited, many others are not because of concerns that the largest corporation in the state of Nevada just got bigger. MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment dominate the strip buy owning the most amount of properties. The concern is that one or two big companies owning so much of the tourism industry in Las Vegas can hurt options for customers that are looking to travel to the area on vacation.
